We have a garden in the back yard. Now its a good size garden and we’ve planted lots of good stuff this year! Last year we had bumper crops of everything! This year our garden is some what challenged but we are ever hopeful that we’ll be getting an abundance of vegetables. We go out almost every night to water and talk to and offer encouragement to the plants. Happy to say the green beans have listened, rallied and responded in abundance! So gardens are just like life. You have your good years and not so good years. You do everything right and sometimes its just not enough. You dig up the soil to mix it up a little, fertilize and have faith and hope in this little plot of earth. You either get a big reward or just a little something. However it all pans out, you know that you tried, sweated, watched for developments, nurtured, encouraged and cheered for success. Most importantly, you had fun doing it!! Its a short growing season so you have to have fun and enjoy the effort as the season changes and the garden is done for another year. Happy gardening!

Here’s something to ponder and write back about. What’s your thought?
“The point of life is not to be married or single - it is to be. We are human beings, or humans being. It does not matter so much what lifestyle we choose - it’s what we make of the opportunities to grow, that counts!” - Alan Cohen, Rising in Love.

Well its off to the beach! We are leaving to do the wonderful Arts Alive show and are taking a long weekend as well. It will be good to sit in the sun with our toes in the sand listening to the lulling sounds of the ocean. Everyone needs to recharge their batteries, change their surroundings and do something different. Break out of the box as it might be! So we’re breaking out of that routine box and following the seagulls to where ever they may lead us.
Have a great weekend, we sure will!!

Well we had a very eventful weekend! We through my parents a 60th wedding anniversary party. 60 years………long time to be married to one person. In that length of time there have been so many ups and downs, triumphs and tribulations, smiles and tears, 4 kids, graduations, weddings, grandchildren, etc. Says alot about the power of love and determination and that you can and will work through anything that comes across your path. Our family was offered a fine example of that commitment. As we are all married now, are following that longevity and committment path as well. Never say never when it comes to a relationship. We are a disposible society. Even though it’s tough we can’t thrown a relationship away until it’s worked on. If you are in a relationship and are having fun and know its a true committment, great success for you! If you’re in a troubled relationship, don’t give up. Keep working on all the squeeky and noisey parts until you yourself know that you have given it your very best in making it succeed. Who knows, 60 years of marriage may be in all of our futures capped off with a room filled with friends and family celebrating that great success! Oh and of course…. cake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We did a street show in Media, PA on Sunday and we won 2nd place in Jewelry Design! It was very cool! We got a red ribbon and displayed it in plain site so everyone could see it. We went to the show with no expectations and we received a nice surprise in turn. Just goes to show you, you need to go with the flow and see where you end up. Remember to have fun as you go along as it makes the trip so much more enjoyable.
